In the wake of recent events, Matt Grice a UFC featherweight and police officer was scratched from his scheduled fight against Jeremy Larsen next month at UFC 166 following the injuries he sustained after his vehicle was rear ended in a multicar collision.
Off-duty at the time accident, Grice was taken to a local hospital in his home state of Oklahoma, where we underwent surgery for the injuries to his head. Contrary to what was being reported by local media outlets, it was confirmed that the fighter was in fact wearing his seatbelt.
